Legacy Marine builds dive support vessels for the O&G industry with the two most modern ones being built for a French client who provides offshore diving and ROV services to the O&G industry. These vessels were designed by Incat Crowther and built under full class survey to ABS A1(E), AMS, HSC Coastal Craft. Where a large number of these small dive support vessels are converted monohull crew boats, our clients chose a catamaran design to maximise stability and deck space. These were the first catamaran designs to be fitted with a “surfer type bow” to enable crew transfers from oil and gas platforms. The vessels are equipped with a vast array of dive systems including a 3-man air dive station, underwater high-pressure washers, underwater welding, and hydraulic tools. The aft deck is rigged to support safe dive operations. The vessels are rated for 200nm offshore operations. For full vessel specification please do not hesitate to contact us.
